Art Therapy
You start with materials on the table and no pressure to make anything good. Art therapy gives you a way to work through feelings that are hard to put into words, and we use it as a core part of treatment plans at Kade Behavioral. Our team stays alongside you the whole time.
How Art Therapy Works in Treatment
You walk into a quiet room stocked with paper, paint, clay, and colored pencils, and you make something. No art experience needed. Our licensed clinicians use art therapy to help clients express feelings that are hard to put into words, which often surface during recovery from addiction and conditions like anxiety, depression, or trauma.
A session might mean sketching how a craving feels or shaping a memory in clay. We talk through what comes up, and we fold those insights into your wider treatment plan, adjusting the approach as you make progress.
