Marijuana Addiction Treatment
Treatment begins with an honest look at how cannabis fits into your daily life, then a plan built around that reality. We support you from medically supervised detox through therapy and long-term aftercare. Our team uses evidence-based methods, and we stay with you as the work continues.
How Kade Behavioral Treats Marijuana Addiction
Treatment starts with a clinical assessment. We sit down with you, review your cannabis use and your history, and use what we learn to recommend a level of care that fits. Some people need medical detox first, since heavy cannabis use can bring on withdrawal: irritability, trouble sleeping, appetite loss, and restlessness that peak in the first week. We manage those symptoms so you are comfortable.
From there, some clients step into residential care and others do well in outpatient programming. Many people who use marijuana are also managing anxiety, depression, or trauma. We treat those conditions alongside the addiction, in the same plan, with the same team, because pulling them apart rarely holds.
Therapies We Use
Your care plan starts with an assessment of what you're facing, then we build treatment around it. For many people that means cognitive behavioral therapy to work through thought patterns, group therapy to practice recovery alongside others, and family support to repair relationships at home. When it's clinically appropriate, we add medication-assisted treatment to steady withdrawal and cravings.
